Unlike conventional sheet waterproofing membranes, Voltex® can be applied in poor weather, ie cold, raining, even snow! This substantially reduces delays in schedule during the winter months. It’s construction means there is no need for tapes or protection boards and normal site activity need not be disrupted during installation, offering savings over alternative waterproofing membrane systems.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION

Normal sheet waterproofing membranes require complex installation to allow for complicated detailing.

The details are not only time consuming, but present areas in the future. Voltex® is far easier to install not only offering a time saving but also eliminating a potential source of future problems.

Voltex® can be applied in virtually all climates, even in the snow.

(piles, steel, existing masonry etc.)
Voltex® doesn’t require the temperature to be 5ºC and rising.

SELF ADHESIVE WATERPROOFING MEMBRANES

Waterproof membranes are laminates of various plastic films and reinforcements coated with bitumen/polymer adhesives to provide a tough self-adhesive waterproof membrane sheeting. Can also be provided with integral foil layer to prevent the passage of methane and radon.

BUILDING FILMS – SPECIALIST USE

High Quality Polyethylene Vapour Membrane for use in concrete slabs. Available in various grades to suit BBA certification or general Building Regulations and PIFA grade.

ECONOMICAL CLEAR POLYTHENE SHEET

For general site use. Rolls when unfolded are approximately 4 x 25m in size. For general protective uses on construction sites.

RUBBERISED BITUMEN EMULSION

Supa-Swell XL

Supa-Swell XL waterstop is designed to stop water infiltration through cast-in-place concrete construction joints by expanding upon contact with water to form a positive seal against the concrete.
Supa-Swell XL is a polymeric hydrophilic waterstop or waterbar composed of natural sodium bentonite clay and butyl rubber. It is 20mm x 25mm in section and is supplied as 5 metre rolls.
It can be simply fixed by a suitable adhesive bonding or by mesh and masonry nails.
SUPA-SWELL waterstop is harmless to the environment.
Variations of waterstop/waterbar are available on request, ie delayed reaction and salt water suitability.

PVC Waterbar & Junction Pieces

PVC WATERBAR is used in construction or expansion joints in concrete. It is cast in to both sections of concrete and creates a flexible seal across the joint. It is supplied in various widths and lengths per roll.

Installation of the waterbar may require JUNCTION PIECES. This requires a jointing jig and hot knife to be used as illustrated to melt and seal the waterbar and junction pieces together.
