Ground Preparation & Soil Stabilisation

Gas Barrier Membranes

Polyethylene ground membranes designed for maximum protection against gasses rising into a building from under floor areas. Options are available to prevent Radon, Carbon Dioxide and Methane.

Gabion

Filled with stone, gabions become a large, flexible and permeable building block from which a broad range of structures may be built.

SUPPORT TO:
  • Sea Walls
  • River Banks
  • Culverts
  • Railways
  • Roadworks
  • Embankments

Geotextile

Woven and unwoven geotextiles provide an effective solution to the age-old problem of constructing stable granular layers over soft foundation soils. This fundamental problem, and the solution using Geotextile, is shown in Figure 1.

i.e. Roads, Motorway Constructions, Embankment Construction, Pavement Construction and Railway Construction.

Geogrid Soil Stabilisation

GEOGRIDS
Are often used for the following applications

  • retaining walls
  • steep slopes
  • roads and railroads
  • grass reinforcement

  • Retaining walls can be constructed with out external support.
  • Steeper slopes can be built than is possible where a natural fill material is used.
  • Reduces structural deformations due to erosion, rutting and other loads
