GRADE PLATE

A double cover spacer that has been designed for use in ground floor slabs, where its large base area prevents puncturing of polythene film and gives a stable support to the reinforcing steel.

DOWEL BAR CAGES
Please note there are 2 no half cages per 1.5mtrs of joint. Dowel bar cages are used to support dowel bars in expansion and contraction joints of road and floor slab construction. They are manufactured in 1.2 metre lengths to suit any slab thickness.








EXPANSION DOWEL BAR CAPS
A range of dowel bar debonding caps manufactured from rigid PVC tube with a compressible cork fixed into one end to act as a compressible filler.

















EXPANSION DOWEL BAR SLEEVES
PVC Dowel Bar Sleeves provide a very successful and efficient method of debonding mild steel dowel bars.

DEBONDING COMPOUND

METAL SCREED CHAIRS
The metal screed chair is supplied in two parts, the height being simply adjusted by turning the stirrup in the base





PLASTIC SCREED CHAIRS

Plastic screed chairs are ideal for light duty applications. It is not advisable to use the chairs in bays over 5 metres wide and we would recommend placement at 500mm Centres.

For heights over 150mm the base of the chair should be placed in a “Blob” of concrete for greater stability.

Crack Inducer


FLOOR SLAB ACCESSORIES

CRACK INDUCER

This two part PVC crack inducer and groove former induces a controlled crack in continuously laid concrete. Its hollow, braced section makes it strong enough to be vibrated direct in to wet concrete.

Tying Wire & Wire Cutters


TYING WIRE BLACK ANNEALED

This 16 gauge tying wire of fine quality wire, soft annealed to very high standards, and acknowledged by steelfixers to be the premier tying wire.
















STAINLESS WIRE

18 gauge stainless steel tying wire is used where there is danger of wire off cuts being left on the form work and causing staining on the surface of the concrete.

REBAR SAFETY CAPS

This cap is designed for use in the construction industry, and fits over the ends of protruding reinforcement bars reducing the risk of injury.

The standard two metre long Continuous Hystools are particularly suitable for ground floor slab construction where they can be used to space between layers of mesh or bar reinforcement. Wire mesh chairs can also be used in wall construction.

Four/Five per sheet
The heavy duty wire mesh chairs are mainly used where there is particularly heavy loads or excessive site traffic also in suspended slabs where they are used to give support plus accurate separation and positioning, between the layers of reinforcement.
